Preparation

The process of preparation in floor sanding includes the removal of any existing floor coverings, such as carpet;  the removal of staples, glue or any existing finishes, punching and filling of all nail holes and the removal of all rubbish.

Floor sanding

We are able to sand all floors from new to old or recycled timber flooring; including decking, treads and staircases, parquetry floors, from shops, to shopping centres, school halls and basket ball courts. No job is too large or too small.

Staining

Staining a timber floor is a fine art. We only apply stain directly to your timber floors. We can provide you with a choice of colours, or colours can be mixed to give you a unique result.

Finishing Of Floors

We only use the finest finishing products.  We are also qualified Synteko applicators and our finishes include:

• polyurethane based (high gloss, semi gloss, satin, matt)
• water based (semi gloss, satin, matt)
• tung oil (high gloss, semi gloss, satin, matt)
• solid oil (matt)

The above sheen levels will depend on the products that you choose to use.

Maintenance

We can provide you with professional advice and products to prolong the life of your existing floors.  Maintenance of your timber floors may include recoating.
